Rudran (Bobby Simha), a software professional, is on the run due to the overwhelming stress of his workload and is unable to even make time for his wife. Rudran is taken on a trip to a hill station by his health-conscious wife Nila (Kashmira Pardeshi), who is distraught and crying. They stay at an old inn returning from the visit. A villainous character attempts to attack and kill them there. The plot centers on Rudran's efforts to flee from him and who is concealed within the evil image.

The screenplay was written by debutant director Ramanan Purushottama as a "life-death" struggle between the main characters, who are stuck in a time loop and face the same events over and over again in an effort to recover. Through the final scene, which demonstrates that it is not a "time loop" concept, the director has demonstrated his high level of social concern.

The selection of the actors, the art direction, the cinematography, the music, and the "making" of quality have all contributed to a satisfying viewing experience. Rudran uses a few scenes and a song to elegantly establish the problem rather than lecturing on the pressures of the software industry. In contrast, the opening scene, in which a person experiences extreme stress and gains superhuman strength, is basically "heroic" trash. In a similar vein, the director failed to make a connection between the relevance and character of Rudran and Nila, despite the hostel's rustic appearance and the villain's character being modeled after characters from video games.

Bobby Simha, who has been watching how Rajini's body language affects his acting for a long time, has made this film feel like "Rudran" in the same way he has done it in previous films. Kashmira Paradeshi's presentation as a spouse who battles to save her significant other from the tensions of work is great. She likewise dazzles in acting with a specific measure of charm.

Arya only appears in two scenes, but she does a mature job. Notable roles go to Kochu Preman, who plays the hotel's receptionist, and Sarath Babu, who plays the doctor. "Vasantha Mullai," which tries to show how the software industry's work life is different from other industries in a new way and from a medical point of view, is enjoyable.
